This unit is great for the project studio looking to create freely. This is a Quality Recorder that everyone has tried to duplicate and imitate but yet Roland just kept improving upon. There are newer versions now like the vs2480 which is the 24 track which is phenomenal. Still this unit is still strong if you dont mind 16tracks and not 24. This is a smart economical purcase for the beginer and the project studio.
