I just picked one of these up a few weeks ago. Great price and very sturdy piece of gear! No wobbly knobs and steady faders. EQs are comparable to Mackie and the six sends are great-all mono though. The returns can go to one of the tracks or into one of four stereo tracks with no eq available. Not a problem for me, but some may frown on that. As for the inputs, I'm afraid they may be a little weak. Everything sounds nice when EQ-ing tracks in solo mode, but I get analog garbage when I put all of the tracks together. Is this a design flaw or is there something wrong with my unit? (Yeah-yeah, laugh all you want!) I've used plenty of Mackie boards to recognize that this is almost identical to the 1604 and the sound is very clean. If I can get around the sounds when 2 or more tracks are live I'll give it a 10.
