Well, i use behringer Autocom Pro 1400 for techno and trance stuff and it does the job perfectly, there are an expander/gate and enhancer in adition of compressor. You can push the material to the "limit" with this baby. No hiss, hum or other noise from it, sounds verry clean and profesional, ofcourse if you put the right material thru it. Guys don't listen others saying behringer is shit, 'till you get the gear. I also have behringer denoiser SNR2000, Virtualizer Pro and they sound really cool. If you want good compressor/expander/enhancer, i think behringer is the best choise for the price.

I use it on a small marshall combo, run a zoom 505 and a boss se50 through it and it sounds more controlled with the Behringer. Its either stereo or 2x mono. For 90$ its a steal.
