well i think this is a vary nice macheen u can edit with bar n baets good with tempo maps too i used too own a roland vs840 the effects on it really kick ass but its diffucoult use 788 on other hand vary easy to use effectsr ok

I've got a 788 portastudio i must say im impressed with its ease of use. I am now able to automate my faders,eq gain and freq,pan with fruityloops using midi.
