My CD-RW700 has a problem! I turn it on and the tray opening mechanism just goes: clunk....clunk....clunk - ad infinitum but the tray doesn't open. The remote won't operate it either and neither do any of the front panel buttons. Any ideas out there? Michael.

Great Low Cost live CD recorder. Sounds great. Have used mine for about 4 years now.

Only donwfall is the longevity of it. I used it extensivily and now its in the shop. Can't complain though, its a great machine for simple clean recordings.
