OK I'm thinking about buying a apple g5 plus the mbox sofware. Just to do pre-production. I'm a songwriter not a computer geek. So far all these chats give the mbox about 5 out of 10 .Still on the fence with this thing. My initial cost will be 2700 not bad I just want to use this thing and have cretive tool to record my ideas.I'm afraid that i'm gonna be on a help line with digi design and forget why I got this in the first place. Still confused can anyone help out a brother

I have one laptop I use for work, and am looking for another to operate the mbox, and tools. Not looking for a million dollar set up, just another laptop that will work the systems w/o any glickes, and it will be dedicated soley to to the Mbox, and tools.
