I just got an M Box and a 12 powerbook Mac. It was a hassle at first having to upgrade my mac OS, but once that was done and I installed PT LE one last time it worked great. I can record and import. And I actually did a remix in my headphones alongside Reason. I got my money's worth with that alone. It was a bumpy start but I can't complain... not yet at least. Go Digidesign... p.s. no they didn't pay me to say this.

I have had the MBox for about a week now and have found it difficult to navigate through. The user manual is great at explaining what is what but not so good on how to use it ie talking through a session. If anyone has a handle on this I would love to hear from you.

I've used an MBox to do presentation once with an iBook, doing a demo with Digital Performer. This USB baby went freezing and there you go, the iBook was frozen too. I still trust Digidesign, but not USB!? Never, never, never do demanding stuff on this baby.

Anybody out there had problems with the phantom power on the M Box. It doesn't seems to power any of my condensor mics. Do I need to do something special to get this to work (other than activate it using the button on the back of the box)? I appreciate any help.
