I've been using Mach Five for 2 days now. So far, I think it sounds great. I'm using it with Digital Performer 4. The file management feature is extremely powerful. You can access huge libraries of samples/presets on the fly. The work flow is fast.

The only bitch I have about it, you must have a kick ass Mac to really enjoy it. A dual processor is best.

I had some trouble getting this to work on OS 9.1, but once I upgraded to 9.2.2 and added a lot more RAM (1.3 gigs) it is stable. Much easier to use than hardware samplers. And great sounding effects.
