Hey...i use this card since 2002. I never had bad experience with it. The card sounds great, its latency is 10 ms or bellow. Stop complaining about it. For that price you got more than what you paid. Greetz!

Great piece of equipment for the price. Latency (24bit/44.1 kHz)of 12 ms is enough for me. Easy to operate 4 in, 4 out. One drawback of the break-out box: the inserts are a bit too tight from each other. So if I have a cable with thick plug i have problems. Reccomendation.

To/From an unbalanced mixer: make sure the cable is well-shielded; a cheap one will pick up interference (esp. from video monitor); Monster cable (1/4' TS to RCA) seems to work well.
Plug everything into the same power strip!
I considered buying a Rolls HE18 "Buzz Off" to fix my hum problem, but this turned out to be unnecessary.
Easy one: running Winamp and Cubase at the same time will cause hum that sounds like a ground loop

Very happy running a Delta44 on Win2k + Sonar. A couple of minor driver issues (certain softsynths not working right off the bat) were untangled easily enough, nothing too disruptive. The card sounds great, and installation and setup were overall pretty painless.
Ordered direct from M-Audio and while at first there was some confusion over the order being accidentally shipped to the wrong address. Frustrating, but in the end they came through in spades and overnighted me a new card with free shipping. Also, M-Audio's gear generally seems well made (I've happily used their MIDI thru splitters for over a decade), so I'd definitely consider buying from them again.
