also have one, a bt broken... a couple of channels are rather hummy... and I also am bothered by the noise. BUT when i was less finiky about sound quality i LOVED ths thing, and want to use t again. Now once read someone say that some of the chps are possible to update to more modern one for less noise, can u email me f you have any ideas on ths point? OR f anyone knows of a simerlarly speced current mxer... NOT behrnger.. one U, doesnt have to be digital, just 8 channs and some sends eq etc???

The LFO is pretty cool, you can route it to the pan or mid freq on the EQ.

You can also set a fade time between patches so if you have the time you can sort of automate it. I don't think you could midi control the faders though.

I've still got mine and will probably find a use for it again.

- Can (supposedly) be automated via MIDI. I've heard that this doesn't work very well, however - terrible zipper noise.

The interface is rather clumsy, but this isn't much of a problem if you're the "set and forget" type.

Yes, it does tend towards the noisy side, but its tolerable(forget the headphone jack, its crap). Don't expect to record a symphony orchestra with it, but for the bedroom techno musician it can't be beat - especially for the price!

If you're on a budget and looking for a unique sound, this is the mixer for you - especially if you're doing electronica.

Where else are you gonna find an 8 channel mixer with British EQ, 2 effects busses, and EIGHT LFOs for ~$100? This is one maaaad mixer!
