My trust on such budget-priced Behringer equipment is rising high!
Great desk, didn't notice any stiffness on the knobs and sound quality is almost equal to Mackie.
Only thing that bothers is the lack of multiple stereo aux send/returns. But hey this is a 270$ desk!! Great value for money, great overall.

I was looking to buy this miwer in secondhand for a long time. Almost bought a fostex812, but then I felt on a bargain; this mx2004a. I haven't been able to use it in its full capacity, but I quit happy with it; No noise and enough inputs to blend my stuff ;-) AND... it's so much cheaper than these Mackie things... Ok maybe M is better but if you want big studio quality, you should buy some studiotime at one of those fancy studio's. Q: did anyone use this already to multitrack with an audiocard ? I would like to read your comments !

MX2004 is in simple words a killer. Audio quality is excellent ,as good as Mackie mixers costing twice or more money. There are 16 channel "strips" ,8 with semi parametric Eq and LO ,HI and stereo chanels with HI ,HIMID ,LOWMID & LO fixed eq.
Mic preamps are excellent quality also.Build quality is also very good. If you're looking for a mixer to start & keep for loooooooong time,this is it !!! Absolutely the very best choice for money and much,much more bucks too.
