I have been working with this mixer for a year now and am very pleased with the results. Pristine clear audio quality. I run the output of the mixer through a 2 channel tube DI box to add a little warmth to my mixes. Totall recall is great could not live without it anymore. It saves loads of time. The onboard effects are very usable and the dynamics come in hand as well. EQ works nice for a digital desk. Lots of features for your moneys worth. Great fader automation via midi too.

It is a bit cold compared to the Mackie digital 8 buzz and neve but look how much they cost... but compared to a Mackie 16vlz its a lot better clarity for sure. its clean that what I like. What I dont like is the efx, crap is the word! if your like me and spent a lot of money on analog sounds then dont get one coz it will kill all the warmth you paid for.

My 01v has hiss in several channels, took it back to store and they replaced it with another one which still hisses! Is this a known bug from Yamaha? I am disapointed in this product.
