Nice desk. Simple to use and being able to store your mix is a big pro. Great for remixing-no more fucking around with levels eq and even effects when you want to remix or when you swich between projects a lot. Nice clear sound decent effects and eq. Would not go back to analog. But maybe I am just a lazy bastard since analog sounds a bit warmer in general.

This mixer is a pure wonder, considered its price. Very flexible, it shows a very high sound quality (as far as "high" is made up of a clean, highly dymnamic sound). The mic preamps are very clean, too, and very flat. I use to add some more warmth later, in my my DAW.
If something has to be pointed out, it is the effect processor. Really of little use, for me, but I use TrueVerb. Not a fair comparison. For adding a little ambience to a kick, its fine.
Not the ultimate digital mixer, but by far the best that money can buy.

The 01V has fallen a bit behind the times. the 20 bit converters don't cut it in my opinion, plus the eq and dynamics are very plain. also, the digital channels don't have full EQ or dynamics, so they aren't as usable. my mixes sounded lifeless and flat.
i tried this board for a while then went back to my old board. nice try yamaha but not for me.
