There are other imitations of this plugin in the pipeline from other companies, but this was the 1st software based, pitch correcting software. It is used to correct the pitch of singers and other live mono instruments. Features Automatic (scale) and Manual (graphical) methods of correction.

Good Points
I can't enthuse enough about this software. You have to deal with recording singers, this tool is completely indispensable. This plugin can turn an ok performance into a world class performance. Correct slides that go a little "off" or make your vocalist hit those tricky in-between notes they never could quite get. It is worth every penny, since it will add immesurably to the production value of your records. A must-have for anyone recording vocals, don't hesitate to buy.
Bad Points
Pitch shifting is not formant-based, where as newer emulations by other companies do use formants to increase the realism of large pitch changes. Still, for changes that involve correcting off-key notes, this is not an issue, since the change is so small.
