What's psycle? Psycle is a 32 bit windows application. What it does? well, is a music creation tool. Features proffessional soundquality and amazing fx with only a single PC with a good CPU. If you're used to 'trackers' you'll find psycle a bit similar to them, but you'll need some 'training' since it's a bit different. If you're a 'Buzz' user you can find some stuff equals to it and other different. Buzz and psycle are both "Modullar" trackers [or 4th generation trackers]. What requires psycle to run? Well, let's see, it depends, the powerful CPU, the more effects and samplers can u put on your song at once, a Pentium 2 300mhz can run it with not too problems. Memory, 64mbs RAM, OS: windows 95/98/2000/NT, and a soundcard of course with windows MME drivers (multimedia drivers, most soundcards include them by default on installation). Also, some tracking skills will help a lot. Psycle have got a CPU Performance monitor, that shows what amount of CPU is using psycle and a realtime detailed report of the cpu costs and calculation performance of each machine, routing and mixing.
