Virtual synth and fx rack w. sequencing (cannot send MIDI to external instruments though).

This is the 2.5 upgrade (available to registered users of reason 2.0) with focus on effects.

The new things are: - vocoder (up to 512 bands, with formant hold capability). Get's a bit muddy at times, but all in all pretty good.

- new distortion module (with various distortion modes, from digitalization to fuzz). Sounds good if a bit digital.

- new reverb module. Really nice reverb actually, much better than in reason 1.0/2.0.

Good Points
- Easy to work with - Sounds good - Versatile
Bad Points
- Needs a pretty hefty computer if you plan on using a lot of instruments and/or effects - Could use a better compressor - Sounds a bit digital
