This is a multi-fx processor, although providing reverb seems to be its main function.Other effects on board are delay, chorus, flanging, tremolo, pitchshifting, phasing, dynamics and EQ. Each effect type has several different algorithms available, which in the case of reverb covers all possible options with hall, room, spring, live, ambience and two plates, while dynamics covers compression, limiting, de-essing and gating.

The M-One has two effects engines that can be used in parallel or in series in a total of six different routing options, including a dual mono mode where two separate mono sounds can have completely independent effects applied to them. There are 100 factory programs onboard with another 100 user memory spaces to store edits.

Good Points
Editing is extremely easy. There are actually loads of parameters available for editing, but TC have put the ones most likely to be used at the top of the edit menu for quick and easy access every time. The range of sounds available, taking full advantage of the various routing options, is enormous. All the effects are high quality and clean sounding and the reverbs are particularly authentic, giving a real illusion of space. A convenient front panel tap button is provided for inputting delay times, which speeds the process up considerably.Everything is controllable in real time over MIDI, the front panel knobs and buttons can all transmit MIDI information which can be recorded by a sequencer.
