A very simple 8 track digital recorder. I bought one thinking I could record 8 tracks in digital for multiple instruments. Man was I wrong!! The stupid machine records only onto stereo busses, meaning you can basically record 2 separate tracks at a time. If you're thinking you can record 8 input sources on 8 different tracks, you are dead wrong! you have to record two tracks [2 stereo or 2 mono] on two tracks [four if it's stereo]. Then, flip these tracks over to monitor, adjust the levels, make sure you have the sliders down for those tracks, and then you can record other inputs. Again, no more than two. Cheap, cheap, cheap!!! I can't believe this thing ever made it onto the market. I sold mine after having it for a month!

Good Points
Low price [i wonder why], decent mixer, 3 band parametric eq, digital out, scsi port is standard
Bad Points
expensive to upgrade to an internal HD, horrible method of recording [busses], poorly lit display, only one effect loop at a time
