The Vortex is a true stereo processor capable of some truly uniqe sounds.

In my ears its the grand ultimate effects processor when it comes to wondrously space-fx, transforming most any signal into a drapestry of lush and earpopping sounds.

Probably just as underrated as the 303 was in the 80's, it was litterary thrown at the customer when sales flopped. Should not be hard to find a used one.

Good Points
Fantastic sounds. True morphing between effect algorithms - a unique capability not seen in other processors. Good analogue inputs(footpedal, switches - can be triggered with S-trigs and controlled with standard 5V CV).
Bad Points
To weird for normal people - a total bummer at in the guitar market it was aimed on. Hard to understand what each effect actually does.
