Akai Xe-8 Drum Expander Editor Edits all internal parameters of the unit using a standard PC and MIDI interface. Works under windows 98, NT, 2K, XP. Can be used to instantly program the unit to respond to genral midi drum mappings.

Good Points
Allows the user to edit all internal parameters and set the drum samples to gm/xg drum maps or midi key numbers with ease. Sets the unit to fixed audio output assignments for external mixers and effects to work properly with the 8 outputs. Very unique program to help users set the unit up to their own studio configurations.
