this desk is a direct competitor for the mackie 32:8,released in 1997 it gained an enviable reputation very quickly & is even today still considered the best 'sensible money' analogue 8 buss mixing desk out there.

Good Points
- sound quality = awsome, everything that goes thru this desk gets phattened up. - eq sounds great,is very powerfull & flexible - routing options/ins & outs are the most comprehensive i've seen - very quiet - built like a sherman tank (& weighs as much too)
Bad Points
- size/weight (over 100lbs !) - no total recall/midi mute (can't have everything) - could do with 4 band fully parametric, but this would obviously increase costs dramatically - noisy fan on external rack mounted power supply
