Jason Johnston writes:
The UA-25 is a very powerful little audio interface. It's a nice improvement on the (now-discontinued) UA-5, by adding a couple big features like MIDI in and out and analog limiter. The preamps sound clean, nothing special - but very transparent. It's my favourite 2 in USB interface right now and I've sold a number of them here in my store in Canada. People seem to be quite pleased.

Good Points
- The rugged metal chasis and high quality controls makes you feel like you are getting a professional piece of gear. - Addition of MIDI make it an "all arouner" - Clean pre-amps allow for some great quality recording - Core audio is a big plus for the Mac guys. - Installation was pretty easy on the XP machine
Bad Points
- Maybe this is just a Win XP thing, but every time I unplugged/plugged it, I had to reinstall the driver
