ArtOfSound writes:
The DPS-V55 incorporates the same type of 52 bit processing engine as the DPS-V77 offering incredibly full sounding reverbs and choruses and pitch shifting that stays on track.

All 4 INs and Outs are free-routable. Very good user-interface, with even an velocity!-sensible data-dial. Every FX you can think of, and even some Special FX, like TapeStarter, TapeStopper, ... (simulates the sound of old reel-tapes when they start and stop)

200! really usable Factory-Presets, and 200 user-presets. Freq. : 20~22kHz

And yes....that unit even has some real Surround-FX like e.g. Surround-plates.

Good Points
I dont know any bad points....so i would have to repeat the whole description in here. But lets say, the average sound of that unit beats every other FX-unit in that price-range!
Bad Points
Maybe that there are no balanced or digital connectors, but at that price point...? But i really have to say, that this unit SOUNDS as if it had balanced I/Os...No Noises or Distortions at all!
