Nifty Click Track

This tip might help drummers goove better when recording with a click -

If you can spare the extra track, lay down an additional click track playing on the offbeats - just make sure you use a different sound than your primary click. Mix it in according to your drummer's preference. All the drummers I have worked with claim it is easier to "lock in" with such a click, since most rhythm patterns relly on the on-beats. The off beat click is easier to hear.
