I know that this isn't some kind of major discovery, but when trying to record digital audio tracks with a guitar amp, try using either the line out on the amp or the headphone out. Keep the output levels low and you just might be surprised at the result! Remember to always add effects before the A/D conversion. I've found that the signal usually will sound better than when adding digital effects afterward. peace and merry new year!
