The drum loops, grooves and fills cover a wealth of styles: Bernard Purdie (Steely Dan), Erykah Badu, Jeff Pocaro, & Eric Benet, even a hint of glam rock. The audio for Swing & Shuffle Grooves was recorded at the famous deep-in-the-country Helioscentric Studios on the vintage mixing desk originally used by Island Records for artists including Bob Marley and Roxy Music, and made famous by the Paul Weller album of the same name. The MIDI loops were recorded using Roland V-Drums.
Swing & Shuffle Grooves is the result of 'hundreds of hours of recording, programming and editing from some of the finest musicians and programmers in the field, including Shane Meehan (Norman Cook/Beverly Knight) and Dave Spiers (Keyfax Software)', says Gmedia.
The software is fully Mac and PC compatible, and is available now from retailers (and directly from the Gmedia website) for £29.95.
