A year after the release of Storm version 1.1 (June 2000), Arturia has announced Storm 1.5, the new version of they're musical composition studio.

One of the biggest changes is the availability of Storm for the Macintosh, due by all accounts to Apple's tech folks.

New features and improvements include

"cross-platform" version, Windows and Macintosh

ergonomic reshaping of the interface and addition of a menu bar

new graphics

menus and documentation in 4 languages : French, English, German, Japanese

software tutorial in Flash format

ASIO driver support

better VST compatibility

performances improved (% CPU)

20 modules provided with the studio, including the famous Orpheus

improvements to the virtual synthesizer filters
