Following the success of the SampleTank(r) software Sound Module, Italian music software developer IK Multimedia have announced the new 1.1 MAS version for MOTU Digital Performer(tm).

The new MAS version is a native plug-in which allows for the first time MOTU Digital Performer(tm) users to access a fully integrated sample-based professional sound module, vastly increasing the compositional possibilities of their favourite sequencer.

SampleTank(r) 1.1 MAS is available in two versions:

- SampleTank L
Includes 200 top-quality sounds using more than 1.1GB of samples: 42 orchestral sounds, 40 electric sounds, 54 acoustic sounds, 65 electronic synth sounds and loops. Includes AKAI(r) S1000-3000 converter. $279

- SampleTank XL
Includes 450 top-quality sounds using more than 2.5GB of samples: 82 orchestral sounds, 77 electric sounds, 96 acoustic sounds, 199 electronic sounds and loops. Includes AKAI(r) S1000-3000 converter. $499

Current SampleTank users will be able to download the new MAS version for free.
