WNAMM02:Jomox In the House

Sunsyn and XBase09 in full effect (with demo)      29/01/02

Andreas, the distributor for Jomox, gave us a great demo of the Xbase O9.The new XBase features a new paintjob and a couple of extra midi features - notably the ability sequence to and external device. to Don't let the suit fool you, Andreas is a techno whiz and knows this baby inside out.
Take a listen Also on the stand was the Sunsysn, this monster synth seems to have been in production for an age but we are reliably informed that 83 units have now been shipped. It's an uncompromising analog, a real monster with 4 VCOs, 2 LFOs, 2 ADSRs and a 4-pole, fully configurable filter per voice (8 in all). With eight part multi-timbrality and ten outs. We felt the wind from this machine - it's a beast. This synth is for the real enthusiast - priced above the $3000 dollar mark it's pretty much built to order.
