On our quest for The Perfect Gizmo we popped into the D'Addario booth - they're known for their guitar goodies, but they have a line of nice audio toys under the Planet Waves moniker; we thought we'd see what's new. Sure enough, they had a great new gadget - an instrument Humidity & Temperature monitor.

So tell me, just how cool is that?
It sits in the case along with your beloved instrument, and logs the temperature and humidity - handy if you want to get a picture of the environmental stresses it experiences. We reckon it'd be even more useful if it could dial your phone number and tell you if it was getting all hot 'n' bothered. Hmmn, could be problems there, though. Imagine the scene; there's a call at your place... the machine gets it... your significant other checks the messages to find one saying; "Hi, I'm getting all hot and wet in here, I need you to take me out and play with me" Maybe not, eh.
