It's aimed at computer based users, but its great sounding and fantastic interface make it an extremely creative tool. Keyboard Magazine also said:

AmpliTube's standout feature is the amp and cabinet modeling....it does the guitar thing very well . . . but there are a lot more applications under the hood It's a plug-in whose applications go beyond electric guitars. Studio and stompbox effects are useful for more than just guitar." Not bad eh? We've seen and heard Amplitude in action and would tend to agree - it really is an outstanding piece of software.
