We saw a demo featuring a small combo amp and the results were amazing. The sound becomes much louder with a greater direction and body, as the noise that usually comes out of the back of the amp is redirected forward. As well as making the amp sound better, it won't need to be driven as hard to generate a full sound, plus the guy playing drums doesn't get an earful - in fact the level is attenuated by some 12dB which will help in stage spill to other mics too. Made from 9-ply Baltic Birch, it has a solid construction and comes in a range of sizes to accommodate many different combo sizes and could be used for keyboard combos. Future models will include the cunning use of space inside the Enhancer for use as a place to put your leads an other vital items (beer perhaps?) The guys who make the Enhancer were a lovely bunch, check out our video of the demo (coming soon) - we think you'll be impressed.
