Yamaha announced the new Motif ES just before Summer NAMM. The short ES suffix belies the number of new features and capabilities crammed under the hood of Yamaha's flagship workstation range.

Featuring large increases in wave rom (179 MB), resulting in over 1000 sounds, an improved synth engine, beefier DSP - giving more effects, 128 voice polyphony and much more.
