NAMM: Ultimate Sound Bank Introduce -Charlie

Retro classic electric organs produced on your computer      16/01/04
Ultimate Sound Bank has introduced “Charlie,” an all-new, all-organ virtual instrument designed to bring the sounds of the classic electric organs to your desktop. Powered by USB’s UVI-Engine, Charlie’s 3 GB sample library delivers authentic organ sounds as well as an excellent CPU efficiency. Billed as “The Retro Organ Module,” Charlie will be distributed in North America by ILIO Entertainments and was unveiled today at Winter NAMM. Charlie’s 3 GB of samples were recorded using premium gear at a world-class studio. All of the samples are available with and without a rotating speaker effect, allowing the user flexibility without the need for a sampler. Hundreds of drawbar combinations are provided along with real-time cross-fade control between presets and speaker effects. Charlie offers a wealth of parameters, including percussion, classic synth controls and reverb, to allow each preset to be adapted to any user’s individual needs. The product’s full MachFive compatibility provides users of MOTU’s virtual sampler with direct access to the library. All user-edited parameters can be saved with each project, for maximum creativity and efficiency. Charlie retails for $299, and is available for the PC (VSTi), MAC OS 9 (MAS, RTAS and VST), as well as MAC OS X (MAS, RTAS, Audio Units and VST).
