Dave Spiers was in attendance showing off Gforce's latest synth re-modeling project - the impOscar, based on the classic British Oscar synth, it's a powerful blend of subtractive and additive synthesis with an incredible filter section. Paul Wiffenm, one of Oscars original designers was on hand (in LA to direct a spoof Kung Fu movie of all things!) to give it the thumbs up.
We got a demo from Dave Spiers and were all very impressed, as with the other Gforce Virtual synths (see our Oddity review. Shipping around now, the expected price is $179.95
