We dropped by the Cakewalk stand were we got a run through of the new features of the Project 5 1.5 update (video coming soon). Cakewalk continue to develop their flagship SONAR Audio/MIDI workstation with the release of SONAR 3.1. The update provides enhancements that include:

multi-processor optimization

support for all sample rates

high quality file import/export

audio conversion utilizing Windowed Sinc resampler

adjustable EQ plo resolutions

missing plug-in protection

StudioMix control surface plug-in

revised Play List view.

The update also addresses a number of minor bugs discovered after SONAR 3 began shipping.
