MESSE: How Much?!?!!!

Guitar and tube amp package for less than 150 bucks 07-Apr-04
MESSE: How Much?!?!!!
How do they do it for that little?

Behringer have intoduced the Vintager Guitar Pack, making the claim to be the first manufacturer worldwide to offer a guitar starter pack with a vacuum tube guitar amp - the brand new Vintager AC108. The comprehensive package comes with a strat-style electric guitar and all the accessories a guitarist needs to start playing right out of the box.

The Vintager AC108 is a 15-Watt vintage-style guitar amp with a hand-selected 12AX7 vacuum tube, a 2-band EQ plus mid-shift and a vintage-tuned 8" guitar speaker. A dedicated headphone output with speaker simulation permits silent practicing. In addition, the CD input makes it possible to play along to favorite tunes.

The guitar features a solid body with the classic three-single-coil pickup configuration, a 22-fret maple neck with adjustable truss rod and chrome-plated hardware that is highlighted by the black glossy finish. The massive fulcrum vibrato bridge rounds out the Behringer's guitar's vintage-style appeal.

To provide the finishing touch to the package, the Vintager Guitar Pack also provides a high-quality instrument cable, an adjustable guitar strap, three picks and a guitar instruction book. A sleek padded gig bag protects the guitar on the road.

The guitar pack is expected to ship in the last quarter of 2004 for $149 USD
