Elektron Announce Major Machinedrum OS Update

The Elektron Machinedrum set a benchmark for the modern drum machine when it was released in 2001. The solid build, classy interface and unique parameter access meant it was capable of a great deal. (see review) In the first major update to the OS, taking it to OS1.20, users of Elektrons Machinedrum synthesizer and arranger can now enjoy an overall feature boost The OS is now available from the Elektron Machinedrum webpage free of charge for all current users. Highlights of the update include DJ-tempo for turntable synchronization, control machines for improved live control and individual swing, accent and slide tracks. In addition to this many details has been tuned and improved according to user feedback. The Elektron Machinedrum SPS-1 is generally referred to as the state of the art beat box and percussion synthesizer.
