NAMM: Legendary Swedish Guitars Return
...But They're Not Made In Sweden Anymore 24-Jan-05
Abba, Volvo and Hagstrom - which is the odd one out?
|
Last produced in Sweden in 1981, Hagstrom guitars are now available again - both electric and acoustics. The new range is manufactured and distributed by American Music & Sound under license from AB Albin Hagstrom. The new models benefit from recent advances in materials and manufacturing technology notably in their fingerboards which are manufactured from a homogenous wood composite material which feels like and has the acoustivc qualities of ebony. All of the electric guitars also include the company's patented H-Expander truss rod which allows for a very low action and thin neck.
