One of the big innovations seen at the NAMM show was to be found on the Breedlove guitar stand where the company was showing it's Synergy system as fitted to its Atlas guitars, earning it an award from Guitar Player magazine.

From our custom shop in Tumalo, Oregon comes Synergy. Synergy combines the fine art of exquisite acoustic guitar building with the extreme electronics from the RMC pickup company. This pickup creates an authentic, warm acoustic tone with the exciting polyphonic possibilities such as access to the Roland VG modeling systems, GR synthesis and a host of computer software programs.
Synergy consists of individual piezo saddle pickups connected to an off board Polylink preamp through an 8-pin connector, also allowing a pass through of an internal microphone. The Polylink preamp offers � inch piezo out with a volume control, 3-band EQ and a midrange switch with DMX feedback elimination circuitry built in. It also offers a 13-pin polyphonic output with synth volume, SW 1, SW 2, and footswitch controller input.
