Clavia's latest model is the Nord Stage, with 88 fully weighted keys, aftertouch, pitch stick and mod wheel.
The four output Nord Stage features three distinct sound sources which can be split into separate keygroups across the keyboard.
The Stage also has comprehensive MIDI master keyboard features making it a viable option for the center of a rig. At 18KG, the Stage is pretty light given the hammer action keyboard and 88 keys.
All sections have a B panel for using up to 6 sound sources so you can make extremely complex layering or multi-timbral combinations.
Hammond B3 Organ
Vox Continental Organ
Grand Piano - Yamaha C7
Electric Grand Piano, CP-80
Rhodes Piano - with release samples for extra authenticity
Subtractive Synthesis - classic Nord analog emulation
The unit also features a morph function to produce radical changes with the minimum of fuss. Details are pretty thin on the ground at present as the Nord Stage is still under construction, with work to be done on the final sounds sets etc
Clavia are aiming for a summer release (late June perhaps)
