NAMM06: Three New Stompboxes From Marshall Amplification

Modulation, Reverb and Delay pedals introduced 26-Jan-06
NAMM06: Three New Stompboxes From Marshall Amplification

Marshall Amplification has expanded its range of guitar effects pedals with three new digital stomp-boxes — the Regenerator (RG-1), Reflector (RF-1) and Echohead (EH-1). Each pedal features all-metal construction, passive bypass circuitry and stereo outputs. All three feature a compact and sturdy metal housing and are powered by 9 Volt battery or optional 9 Volt adapter.

The Regenerator Digital Modulation Effect Pedal
The Regenerator (RG-1) features six recording-quality modulation effects — Vintage Chorus, Modern Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Step Phaser and V Vibe for adding classic modulation sweeps and swells to any style of playing. Controls include Modulation Mode, Speed, Depth and Regeneration. An input jack is provided for an optional expression pedal allowing real-time control of the modulation speed.

The Reflector Digital Reverb Effect Pedal
The Reflector (RF-1) offers complete control over six studio-quality reverb effects that are designed to enhance the user’s guitar sound without overpowering the tone. It creates sounds ranging from spacious halls to studio plates, classic spring reverbs and haunting reverse reverb textures. Controls include Reverb Mode (Hall, Plate, Room, Spring 1, Spring 2 and Reverse), Reverb Time, Damping and Level. An optional expression pedal can be connected via the input for control over reverb decay time during live performance.

The Echohead Multi-Delay Effects Pedal
The Echohead (EH-1) adds six distinct delay effects to a guitarist’s palette of sounds, including HiFi, Analogue, Tape Echo, Multi Tap, Reverse and a Modulation Filter. Controls include Delay Mode, Delay Time, Feedback and Level producing everything from crystal-clear repeats to classic analog echoes to psychedelic reverse, and modulation delays. Additionally, an optional momentary footswitch may be connected for real-time tap tempo adjustments.

Price and Availability

The Marshall Regenerator (RG-1), Reflector (RF-1) and Echohead (EH-1) will be available April 2006 with U.S. MSRPs of $199 each.
