WNAMM06: Sonic Reality Announce Infinite Instrument Series

Sonic Reality has announced a new series of highend sampled instruments called the Infinite Instrument Series which are designed to work with streaming samplers such as Kontakt/Battery, Giga, HALion, EXS and more.
Sonic Reality tell us that the multi-sampled instrument collections are dedicated to capturing the ultimate in realism, dynamics, expression, brand variety and studio mic options in specific groups of instrument types. Each title comes on one or more DVD discs and contains large-size instruments supported by popular software samplers such as Native Instruments Kontaktâ„¢, Tascam GigaStudioâ„¢, Steinberg HALionâ„¢, Apple EXS24â„¢ and more. The samples are recorded in 24-bit resolution in the best studio environments with top quality Class A and Tube Mic/Line preamps and mics, exemplifying the purist approach, say Sonic Reality, of capturing the best acoustic/electric sound without processing so that the user has full control over the performance and production of the instruments within the virtual studio environment.
The first releases from the series are the Infinite Drums collections which are focused on natural acoustic studio drum kits formatted as playable multisamples (no loops). Three titles have been announced at the show.
