We’ve just been told by Harman Pro UK that, at the forthcoming Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Lexicon Pro is launching the Alpha, a new entry level model in its series of powerful USB based desktop recording studio systems.
Packaged with Steinberg Cubase LE multitrack recording software for PC and Mac, and the Lexicon Pantheon VST reverb plug-in, the Alpha Studio bus powered, 2x2x2, USB I/O mixer features one XLR mic and two 1/4 inch jack line inputs, and two unbalanced phono outs.
Additionally, a high-z 1/4 inch jack instrument input is included on the front panel. The Alpha can stream two channels of 16-bit or 24-bit audio, enabling simultaneous recording of two instruments from the inputs. Mono/stereo monitoring, and Zero-latency Direct/Playback monitoring are provided.
Check out our Frankfurt MESSE coverage starting on March 29th for further details…
