What more can I say, an inauspicious start to the day, when my travel companion’s alarm failed to rouse him and I spent an anxious 30 minutes ringing every conceivable bell in the area. No matter, after a break-neck journey to the airport – I’ll find out if we broke any speed restrictions on my return I guess, we made it to the terminal with plenty of time to spare. Not quite enough time to make it back to the long term parking area though, where I left all the credit cards – d’oh! The day is getting better and better. Thankfully our friends at GMedia promised to lend us a sack-full of cash to pay for our extortionate (but quite lovely) hotel, and a few drinks of course – on favourable terms I hope... Tomorrow is the first day of the show and we’re going to hit the ground running with our first date with the prolific Behringer Gmbh – no doubt going for the Number of Products Released at a Show record. Who knows, this being their home turf we could break the 100 barrier.... However, priority for us is to see the Moog dudes and get the full skinny on the new 2 osc analog they’ve been teasing us with of late. After that, Native Instruments for the full skinny on the KORE system. There is more, it promises to be a busy few days. Tata.
