Behringer has announced the addition of two digital pianos to its Eurogrand series unveiled at the NAMM show in January. The new models are the Eurogrand EG540-BK and Eurogrand EG8080-BK.
Behringer tell us that the Eurogrand EG540-BK and Eurogrand EG8080-BK require no traditional tuning or maintenance and are ideal for use at home, music schools and houses of worship. Each piano comes with an 88-note, weighted hammer-action keyboard and three pedals – Damper, Sostenuto and Soft – for more dynamic playing to accurately recreate the feel of an acoustic grand piano.
The pianos offer 14 high quality RSM sounds (Real Sound Memory) with maximum 64-note polyphony including Grand Piano, Acoustic Piano, Electric Piano, Strings, Harpsichord, Organ etc. Two sounds can be layered in Layer mode and Behringer say that the high-quality reverb, modulation and brilliance effects ensure even more depth and richness.
Both digital pianos also come with real-time two-track song recorder with one song capacity and metronome; comprehensive MIDI In/Out/Thru and stereo line in/out connectors; and dual headphone jacks for silent music rehearsal and student/tutor listening.
