As is our tradition, we hooked up with Berlin’s energetic Analog retailer, Andreas Schneider of SchneidersBuero, to take a break-neck tour around the many analog, digital and other products featured at the enormous SuperBooth. Basically, Andreas brings a large number of boutique and specialized manufacturers of electronic music equipment together under one single Superbooth. This year, the entire booth was running from a single clock source so you could wander between all the individual exhibitors and maintain sync – it’s a great idea as it means that the noise has a common theme – tempo which means that you don’t get 20 or 30 independent sound sources running randomly – a great concept which worked well. I’ll not attempt to cover all the products here, but here’s a list of exhibitors in the order which they appear.
