1100 Little Phattys Sold In Three Weeks


You will have no doubt read our stories on Moog’s new Little Phatty and seen the vid and we can now report that 1,100 Tribute Edition synths have been sold to endorsed artists, Moog aficionados, and worldwide distribution partners in the three weeks since it was launched.
Mike Adams, president of Moog Music has told us, “We expected our core customers to be very excited about owning a new Moog synth that is also a tribute to Bob. Our Moog Authorized dealers anticipated this as well and have absorbed 90% of our planned limited edition model. We are very pleased with the market’s reaction to the Little Phatty, and I am confident musicians will be thrilled with the product when they hear it. It’s definitely a Moog.�
Moog Music will build 1,200 of the limited and individually numbered Little Phatty Tribute Edition synth with special Moog wood side panels, a Bob Moog signature plate across the curved back panel, a CD-ROM featuring highlights from the Bob Moog Memorial Service, and a special Bob Moog poster.
