If you havent checked out Google Earth it really is a must, as well as being truly fascinating and educational, it really helps put things into perspective. Zoom out to space and over to your house (assuming your area has hi res shots), and you begin to understand the significance of your place on the planet (or not). Can be just the thing when suffering from a lack of inspiration... Anyhow, to make it even more addictive, Google have upped the resolution with Earth 4.0. The application is available for both Mac and PC and gives you results more akin to arial photography in some areas - anyone seen Enemy of the State?
