New Sounds For Absynth
Biolabs Absynth Sounds Vols 4-6 released 11/07/06 Camel Audio has announced Biolabs Absynth Research Sounds Volumes 4-6 'Darkness and Light' which features nearly 400 presets for Absynth and includes a 350MB specially-created sample library.The sounds have been expertly programmed by Biomechanoid, a well respected sound designer and one of the principle authors of the Absynth factory sounds. Camel Audio are also releasing a new set of presets from Tim Conrardy and will shortly be providing an additional bonus set of remix sounds, bringing the total for the entire set to over 1000 presets with a 650MB sound library of exotic samples.
Camel Audio tell us that Biolabs Absynth Research is the only commercial sound bank to take full advantage of Absynth 3's advanced features, including sample playback, granular synthesis and surround sound. Every preset has at least five specially selected controllers, to give you fast access to the most important parameters. These can be used to mix, morph and mutate the sounds providing an enormous range of sounds.
The library includes three volumes of 128 sounds. Bio Synthesis II is a collection of innovative basses, pads and synths. Bio Rhythmics II offers a variety of playable leftfield loops which you can warp from dark to light, and mix from minimal to complex using specially programmed realtime controllers. Bio SFX and Atmospheres II is a collection of superior special effects and atmospheres, perfect for film and TV soundtrack work.
Price and Availability
Biolabs volumes 4-6 can be purchased online at the Camel Audio website for $99 USD (plus VAT for EU residents - 88 EUR/£65 GBP) - owners of the existing bank receive a discount of 20%.
The complete set of over a 1000 presets can be purchased for $179 USD/159 EUR/£119 GBP.
The website also provides demo MP3s and a bank of 32 free presets, to give you a taste of whats on offer.
New User Support System
Camel Audio have also announced a new user support system. This allows customers to register products, download the latest updates, access a large library of add-on soundbanks, receive discounts, contact technical support and keep contact details up to date.
